Official Firewise Certificate?

Hi all, I’m a new member of this community (in the process of buying a house) and currently applying for fire insurance. As a part of the process, I need to show an official Firewise certificate.

Can someone please help me find this?

Thank you and apologies if this has been asked before, I tried searching but didn’t see anything.

Hi Havisha,

I am not sure I can help you directly but I’ll try! What neighborhood are you in? Or do you know what Firewise community the house you are purchasing is in? I am in the Berkeley Woods group - Creston Road, Woodmont, Vista Mont north of Marin Ave. Jennifer Braun is the lead in this area and could help you with the certificate. Her email is jzdancelover61@gmail.com

And she is connected with the other groups/communities and might be able to assist you if you are not part of the Berkeley Woods group.

Hi Havisha
At the top of the BF Berkeley Firewise webpage look for tab “neighborhood” click on that and scroll down to find the Creston goup. Click on that and scroll down until you see the heading “How to contact Creston Firewise”. There are links to contact Sara or Eric.
