The Diablo Firesafe Council provides up to $5,000 grants for wildfire prevention and hazard mitigation projects.
The conditions:
- projects must include at least 5 property owners
- the budget is cost-shared (at least 50% paid for my property owners)
- it must be fulfilled by contractors
- they must be proven mitigation measures
- in Alameda or Contra Costa County
Projects also get evaluated based on the wildfire risk of their location.
