Berkeley Fire Department is offering free 1/8" stainless steel fire mesh for vent and gutter screening.
The program was originally free for all residents East of Grizzly Peak Blvd and all residents that are part of a Firewise neighborhood. Eligibility may open wider with time, and may already have done so as of time of reading.
