April 11 Neighbors Helping Neighbors weekend: what a success!
A million thanks to the 350 volunteers, including more than 200 UC Berkeley and DVC students! What we accomplished:
- 23 worksites
- Removed more than 325 cubic yards of chippable debris
- Removed more than 10,000 lbs of leaf debris
- Removed more than 34 cubic yards of combustible non-vegetation debris
- Fabric’ed and rock mulched more than 1,200 ft2 of Zone 0!
Moving towards EMBER compliance
Extraordinary changes in our neighborhood’s streets: hedges trimmed, trees limbed, shrubs pruned, wood gates replaced by metal—wow! Amazing elan in our neighborhood!
