Welcome to the GLaM (Grizzly, Latham and Miller) Firewise Community webpage! This webpage is part of the Berkeley Firewise website. This short tutorial will guide you through every important aspect of this website.
Basic website structure
Think of a file manager. A file manager contains files. These files are organized in folders. This website is much the same, but instead of folders and files, it has categories, subcategories, and topics. Categories are collections of topics, and topics are articles.
Categories
The home page has a list of rectangles with different headings such as “Calendar,” “News,” and “Prepare for wildfire.” These are categories. When you click on a category, you’ll see a hodgepodge list of topics. At the top of the list will be a topic with two red light emojis 
. This is a table of contents for the category, and it’s where you’ll go to see all the topics in that category in an organized list.
Subcategories
Some, but not all, of the categories also have subcategories. When you click on one of these categories, it won’t show you the subcategories. Instead, it will show you every topic in that category. To access the subcategories themselves, go to the table of contents and navigate to the subcategory. Categories in the home page will also have some or all their subcategories listed next to blue, square-shaped bullet points

The home button
To move from one category to another, first go to the home screen (www.berkeleyfirewise.org) and then navigate to the category, rather than trying to go straight to the category. The home screen can be accessed from the top left of the navbar, which will be labeled with either the words “Berkeley Firewise” or a picture of a house.
