Zone 0: New Opportunities for Art in the Garden opens at ACCI Gallery from August 22 through September 27, 2026. As wildfire preparedness reshapes California landscapes, the exhibit explores how artists are transforming outdoor spaces through sculpture and functional garden art created from resilient materials; metal, glass, ceramics, and concrete.
- A free opening reception will be held Saturday, August 22, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at ACCI Gallery, 1652 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley. Admission is free.
- Saturday, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. there will be an Artist Talk entitled Placing Art Outside with a panel of artists and a slideshow. Admission is free.
- Saturday September 19 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. artists will demonstrate how they make an aspect of their work. Admission is free.
