**A day of practical wildfire solutions followed by a community picnic!**  
Join us with the family, inlaws, children and friends for all or some of the day!

Sunday Sep. 27, 12:00-7:00pm  
**@ Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran, 401 Grizzly Peak**

- **12:00-1:00pm: Demystifying the WUI fire code**  
A simple presentation and handout of what it means for us residents.
- **1:00-2:00pm: What is the path to insurability in the Hills?**  
Short presentation followed by panel discussion: there IS a path.
- **2:00-4:00pm: Gates and Fences Vendors’ Day**  
Brief comparison of tech and prices, followed by direct discussions with vendors with installations and good reviews in the WUI. There is a handout.
- **4:00-5:00pm: Best Practices in Home Hardening: protecting homes from wildfire**  
Presentation by notable architect Sheryl Drinkwater, president of Diablo Firesafe Council. _Sheryl will respond to EVERY question at the end._
- **5:00-7:00pm: Sunday Series potluck picnic for everyone!**  
The Sunday Series is a group of residents in the Berkeley and Kensington Hills hosting community events for all. [image]
